Nobody Works in Venice

This is one of my favorite new sites. First, it's creative and simple, and the images are beautiful. The greatest part about the site is anyone could have come up with it. Infact, I can tell you there have been about 150 times where I've been talking with someone and the conversation turns to, "Have you ever noticed how nobody seems to work in San Diego?"

Josh Kreitzman, creator of Nobody Works in Venice, took the idea/conversation and ran with it - allowing for an entire culture to be recognized. By the way... the answer to the question of "Have you ever noticed how nobody seems to work in San Diego (or insert other West Coast City here)" is this.... they do work. They just aren't doing the 9-5 thing. They work on their own terms and live their own lives.

A few examples of those who become featured on Nobody Works in Venice can be seen below: (for descriptions on who they are and why they're not working, you know where to go)

Update: I recently had the opportunity to interview Josh. Read it here.
