We've got two head-to-head matchups of AFC West and NFC West teams.
In my favorite West Coast matchup, the Oakland (soon to be Los Angeles, again) Raiders with Carson Palmer host the Denver Broncos and my boy, Tim Tebow. Believe it or not, I think this game could turn into a shootout. Both defenses are terrible and the offenses are underrated. Prediction: Oakland 21, Denver 28.
In quite possibly the ugliest game of the week (and likely the year), My 1-6 Arizona Cardinals host the Saint Louis Rams, also 1-6. The two teams are a combined 2-12. The Rams actually appear to be getting better and have Sam Bradford back. The Cards are going backwards. Andrew Luck from Stanford, anyone? Cards 17, Rams 21.
Although technically not a West Coast matchup, the game is in San Diego and feels like a playoff matchup. All week long, the city of San Diego has been growing mold on it's cheese. Packer green is everywhere. I'm going to guess that 60% of the fans will be Packer fans, in San Diego. The undefeated Green Bay Packers take on the suddenly struggling and inconsistent Phillip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers. It will be high scoring and fun to watch. Give me the Pack. 35-24.
